About The Position

The Contracts Clerk is responsible for handling the accounting and posting for all vehicle sales; new and used. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in a similar position. He or she can work in a fast-paced and challenging environment handling multiple projects and must have excellent communication, administrative, organizational, and computer skills.

Requirements

  • Must be highly organized and experienced in handling high volumes of paperwork.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines, detail oriented, a team player.
  • Must have at least two years of Automotive experience.
  • Reynolds/Ignite knowledge (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Process all vehicle sales contracts in accounting.
  • Check documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Handles the accounting and posting for all vehicle sales.
  • Manages contractual documentation with financial institutions.
  • Breaks down deals and sends to bank for funding.
  • Responsible for schedules pertaining to the sale of new and used vehicles including but not limited to payoffs, due bills, rebates, and vehicle receivables.
  • Prints, analyzes, and distributes reports as requested by management.
  • Ensures that all accounting transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
  • Verify and post contract funding.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
