Who We're Looking For: Automotive Content Specialist - Wakefield, MA We’re looking for a high-output, automotive-obsessed Content Specialist to take full ownership of the narrative for a dedicated portfolio of C-4 Analytics' clients. This isn’t a passive writing role; it’s a do-the-work, master-the-niche, drive-the-rankings position where you act as the in-house expert. You’ll be responsible for producing and editing high-impact on and off-site copy, conducting deep SEO research, and ensuring every word is compliant with ever-shifting OEM programs and industry trends. You’ll operate as the bridge between technical automotive concepts and compelling consumer copy, captivating everyone from the casual car-shopper to the hardcore enthusiast. You’ll thrive in a high-velocity environment, producing clean, original material under consistent deadline pressure with minimal supervision. This role requires a modern approach to content; you should be comfortable leveraging LLMs and AI assistants to scale your output while maintaining the essential human oversight and "feel" that defines our brand. Reporting to the Director of Content, you’ll stay ahead of SEO best practices and communicate clearly across departments to demonstrate the tangible value of your work. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in automotive, agency, marketing, or AdTech environments.
  • Experience using LLMs and AI assistants to augment and scale content production while maintaining high-quality natural writing and editing standards.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and basic website functionality, with the ability to reach intermediate proficiency within 90 days.
  • Mastery of AP Style and extensive experience with professional peer editing and content review.
  • An equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge and skills to perform the essential functions of the role.
  • Excellent skill in managing multiple programs and projects simultaneously while maintaining strong organizational and time management standards.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with specific training in interpersonal dynamics and a focus on providing clear, concise information.
  • Ability to produce creative marketing copy across diverse styles and formats, ranging from formal site rewrites to informal eBlasts and casual social media posts.
  • Willingness to ask critical questions, flag potential workflow issues, and follow established processes to ensure project success.
  • Highly organized with a disciplined approach to managing nuanced tasks and strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage shifting daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines to produce high-quality onsite, social, and offsite content for a dedicated client portfolio.
  • Blend your personal voice with agency style to create engaging copy across digital formats, leveraging LLMs to scale production while maintaining rigorous human oversight to correct for inaccuracies.
  • Execute Phase I site audits and strategic SEO rewrites for new and existing clients, staying ahead of trends to refine department-wide strategies and best practices.
  • Ensure all content aligns with OEM partner requirements and keep the team informed on emerging automotive trends, model releases, and branding updates.
  • Edit team-wide content according to AP Style, develop internal blueprints and compliance guides, and champion a team specialty such as training, social media, or niche technical expertise.
  • Support broader agency initiatives by performing other duties as assigned to ensure the continued growth and success of the Organic Media Team.
