Automotive Certified Service Technicians Wanted
About The Position
Southwest Florida's largest Family owned Ford store is now hiring Technicians. Sam Galloway Ford is looking for Service Technicians. Highly effective communication and documentation skills are a must. Sam Galloway Ford Lincoln is a fourth generation family owned dealership that has been doing business in Lee County since 1927. We support several different charitable organizations throughout Southwest Florida. Among them are the American Cancer Society, the preservation of the Edison-Ford Winter Estates and the Community Cooperative Ministries (The Soup Kitchen), to name a few. Service Technicians Needed! Ford Certified Technicians will receive a sign on bonus!
Requirements
- 3 years of Service Technician experience preferred
- Ford Certification is a plus
- Qualifications, include Diagnostic, Electrical, and Multi Media Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
- Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass pre-employment testing. Includes background check, MVR, and drug screen

Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.
- Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- Flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Other duties ay be assigned according to skill level and certification
