About The Position

Kunes Auto Group, is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our Apple Valley, MN dealership. As a vital member of our team, you’ll deliver professional and courteous service while ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience. Job Summary The Cashier plays an essential role in providing exceptional service by managing payments, assisting customers, and supporting the office with various administrative tasks. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for customer service.

Requirements

1+ years of experience as a Cashier or in Customer Service is required.
Ability to work Monday - Friday 7:00 - 4:00 (with a 1 hour lunch break).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Excel and basic computer applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to manage complaints effectively.
Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

Prior Dealership experience a plus.
At least one year of experience in a receptionist or similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

Answer multi-line phone systems professionally and courteously, ensuring all calls are managed or directed appropriately.
Receive payments for service, parts, and sales down payments, and reconcile cash payments daily.
Manage office supply inventory and reorder as needed.
Assist customers by directing them to the appropriate departments or team members.
Handle complaints professionally, maintaining a friendly and patient demeanor.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.
