Summary: This role will support as a Contracts Administrator responsible to manage and negotiate complex agreements that support vehicle development programs for a largescale Automotive OEM. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and administering a variety of contractual documents, may include Statements of Work (SOWs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and Engineering Design & Development (ED&D) Quotations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Contract Administration experience & BS Degree in Business administration or combined relevant experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and experience working with high-dollar purchase orders.
  • Familiarity with SAP ECC, Ariba, and approval workflows.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Experience independently leading meetings with external partners including negotiation, delivery and overall assessment discussions.
  • Experience leading ongoing Quality, Cost, Delivery and Development discussions with suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a multinational team environment.
  • Good organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in automotive industry or engineering-related contracts (preferred).
  • Experience using SAP (preferred).
  • Understanding of contract law and legal principles (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and manage contractual documents such as SOWs, MSAs, NDAs, and ED&D quotations.
  • Evaluate and negotiate costs, terms, and conditions for Purchase Orders, ensuring compliance and cost efficiency.
  • Manage contracts related to Engineering Design & Development and in-vehicle software development fees, safeguarding organization's intellectual property.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to accurately assess and reduce overall vehicle development costs.
  • Utilize SAP ECC, Ariba, and the OEM Approval process for contract and purchase order management.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues and clarify terms.
  • Provide guidance on contract interpretation and compliance.
  • Supplier travel required when requested.
