As a Body Shop Buffer , you are responsible for ensuring that all vehicle surfaces are meticulously polished and restored to a high-quality finish, enhancing the overall appearance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Previous experience in automotive body shop buffing or a related field preferred.
Ability to operate buffing and polishing equipment safely and effectively.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Good physical condition and ability to stand for extended periods.
Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Willingness to follow all safety protocols and company policies.

Responsibilities

Buff and polish vehicle bodies, removing imperfections such as scratches, swirl marks, and oxidation.
Prepare surfaces for paint application by smoothing and refining the exterior finish.
Operate buffing machines and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Inspect completed work for quality and make adjustments as necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with other body shop technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
