Performs all tasks associated with the operation of the auto body repair shop. Uses all tools and machines required for all phases of body shop work. This position works under general supervision, using knowledge gained through training and experience. Duties include: Performs unskilled and semi-skilled tasks in repairing and painting damaged bodies on a variety of motor vehicles. Prepares vehicles for painting. Sands, fills, masks, and cleans metal. Spray paints, buffs, and polishes to obtain high degree of finish. Applies lettering, decals and trim. Hourly Rate: The selected applicant's starting hourly rate offer will be in the minimum to midpoint range ($21.7574 - $29.0097) of the advertised compensation range.
