About The Position

Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in automotive billing? We're looking for a Biller to join our team and help ensure smooth operations in our dealership. Key Responsibilities: · Process vehicle sales transactions, including sales contracts, lease agreements, and finance paperwork, in accordance with dealership policies and procedures. · Verify all documentation related to vehicle sales, including vehicle invoices, trade-in documents, and financing agreements, to ensure accuracy and compliance. · Calculate and apply sales taxes, registration fees, and other relevant charges to vehicle transactions, ensuring compliance with state and local regulations. · Coordinate with sales and finance departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to vehicle sales transactions and documentation. · Maintain a positive, professional attitude and communicate consistently with the Finance team to support an efficient process and a high-quality customer experience. Strong communication across all departments is essential to promoting repeat business and guest satisfaction. · Responsible for processing all trade payoffs via check or electronic payment. · Assist the DMV department with the accurate preparation of DMV documents to ensure a smooth submission of registration and titling. Ensure all required compliance documentation for out-of-state transactions is received and meets CDFA requirements, as well as any materials needed by our third-party 50-state DMV processing partner to complete registrations and titles in a timely manner. · Ensure the accuracy of gross figures in the final segment of the finance log for end-of-month pacing and review purposes which includes logging all chargebacks and adjustments from prior month postings to account for any and all sales gross adjustments. · Be open to new processes that create a more proficient team environment as the dealer and industry grows. · Manage and maintain all related schedules, including but not limited to: o Contracts in Transit Schedule o Ensure all funds are collected in accordance with company policy prior to billing deals o Resolve small balances and discrepancies weekly to maintain clean end-of-month reviews o Constant communication with finance department on unfunded deals. o Payoff Schedule o Ensure all payoffs are completed promptly once deals are funded o Follow up on missing payoff titles as needed If you are a motivated professional looking to take your career to the next level, we would love to hear from you! Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or vocational training in automotive finance or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience as an Automotive Biller or similar role in a dealership setting strongly preferred.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately calculate figures and process complex paperwork.
  • Knowledge of automotive finance and dealership finance processes, including familiarity with financing options and requirements.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications, including dealership management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
