About The Position

The Automotive Customer Service BDC Manager is a pivotal role within White Plains Honda, responsible for overseeing the Automotive Customer Service BDC Consultants. This position entails managing the team to ensure that departmental metrics and goals are consistently met, particularly in relation to customer contacts, appointments set, appointments that show, and ultimately, sales conversions. The BDC Manager will play a crucial role in driving the performance of the department, ensuring that all activities align with the company's objectives and standards. In this role, the BDC Manager will be tasked with maintaining and increasing the return on investment (ROI) levels set by the company. This includes assisting in the sales process for vehicles, service, aftermarket products, and finance products. The manager will also be responsible for training both the sales team and BDC Consultants on the e-Sales office functions, ensuring that all staff are proficient in customer interactions via telephone and email. The BDC Manager will measure and maintain performance levels as defined by the company, compiling necessary reports in a timely manner. This includes managing employee schedules and time clock reporting for payroll purposes. Additionally, the manager will monitor and report on all shows and sales delivered by the BDC Consultants, which directly impacts their commissions and bonuses. The role also involves hiring, evaluating, managing, counseling, and, if necessary, terminating BDC personnel. To succeed in this position, the BDC Manager must effectively utilize CRM and Lead Management tools, install processes, and train employees accordingly. A strong knowledge of the sales process, business philosophy, and product offerings is essential. The manager will also be expected to train staff on all processes and uphold behavioral expectations that align with the company's vision and values.
