About The Position

Lia Honda Kingston is seeking an experienced, high performing professional to join out growing Fixed Operations teams as Assistant Service Manager/Lead Service Advisor. This role is a leadership-track position to grow our service business, elevate customer experience and drive operational excellence. COMPENSATION RANGE: $85K-$130K The Lia Auto Group is one of the top 100 automotive groups in the country, established in 1977 by Bill Lia Sr. The group consists of 21 dealerships throughout New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, offering a variety of manufacturers including Honda, Toyota, Hyundai, Nissan, Infiniti, Volkswagen, and Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram (CJDR). Lia also provides rental and full-body repair services at the Lia Collision Center in Colonie, NY. The Lia Group Companies has since grown to include Vent Fitness, Lia Insurance Agency, BurgerFi, and various commercial properties including Hamilton Square shopping center in Guilderland, NY. Requirements

  • Proven experience in automotive service advisor or service department leadership
  • Strong operational mindset with ability to manage both people and processes, ability for coaching, training and developing others
  • Track record of driving revenue while maintaining high customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication skills and professional presence
  • Organized, performance driven, accountable and comfortable working in fact paced, high volume environment
  • Must have clean & valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Lead the service advisor team to deliver exceptional customer experience
  • Drive work flow efficiency to maximize technician productivity and shop capacity
  • Coach, mentor advisors on sales process, communication and CSI performance
  • Assist with daily operations including scheduling, dispatch coordination and repair order management
  • Monitor KPIs such as labor rate, hours per PO, maintenance penetration and advisor performance
  • Step into managerial responsibilities if needed
  • Any other duties assigned by manager
