About The Position

The Assistant Service Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the service department operations at a luxury automotive dealership, specifically for brands like Lamborghini, Bentley, Bugatti, Maserati, and Alfa Romeo. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge, customer service skills, and management capabilities to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of senior-level dealership experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Mechanical knowledge relevant to automotive service.
  • Experience in service writing and auto estimating.
  • Proven track record with Customer Satisfaction Index (C.S.I.).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure comprehensive pre-delivery check of customer vehicles, ensuring cleanliness and completion of all identified services/repairs.
  • Look up labor times and invoice work orders accurately.
  • Advise customers on necessary and suggested services based on their vehicle's needs.
  • Enter itemized estimates on service orders and explain them to customers for clarity.
  • Determine the progress of repair/service orders and keep customers informed accordingly.
  • Audit all service invoices to ensure correct time punches and labor times are applied.
  • Assist in the stocking process and check accessories on new vehicles.
  • Review results of customer satisfaction surveys with the Service Director.
  • Sign off on vehicles after the inspection process is completed.
