This Opportunity We are seeking a dependable, organized, and hardworking Automotive and Facility Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and repair of our vehicle fleet, equipment, and facility systems. This position involves hands-on work across a range of mechanical tasks, helping to ensure the safety, reliability, and readiness of all vehicles, equipment, and workspaces. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Must have a minimum 2 years of automotive repair experience, completion of Vocational-Technical School program in a related field or demonstrated skills via third party certificates/assessment
DOT Inspector Certification or ability to obtain within 1 year of employment.
Strong mechanical aptitude with attentional to detail
Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships a must
Possesses analytical problem-solving skills
Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods
Manual dexterity to operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Comfortable working in various environments, including outdoors and in non-climate-controlled areas. Work environment can include high heat, high humidity, and extreme cold.
Ability to work in awkward positions (under vehicles or equipment)
Ability to operate vehicles and equipment safely
Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds; occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds
Ability to operate a forklift

ASE Certified or Dealer equivalent qualifications/certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on a variety of vehicles including trucks, vans, cars, and trailers
Conduct DOT inspections to ensure vehicles meet regulatory compliance and safety standards
Complete repairs involving brakes, tune ups, suspension, diagnostics, preventative maintenance services
Perform oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, tire rotations, and tune-ups
Track and schedule preventative maintenance services to minimize downtime and extend vehicle life
Inspect, service, and repair equipment such as pumps, generators, pressure washers, air compressors, and other portable or fixed equipment
Troubleshoot operational failures and ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely
Maintain an inventory of spare parts and consumables for commonly used equipment
Perform light electrical work such as replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures
Conduct minor plumbing repairs including faucets, sinks, and water lines
Support general building upkeep, safety inspections, and workspace cleanliness
Assist field crews with mobilization and demobilization of equipment and vehicles
Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials as needed
Maintain shop organization, cleanliness, and safety compliance
Transport equipment, tools, or vehicles between job sites, suppliers, and service providers
Maintain accurate service records, repair logs, inspection reports, and inventory checklists
Track usage and request restocking of parts, tools, and supplies
Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions or equipment replacements
Follow all company safety procedures and regulatory guidelines
Ensure tools and equipment are operated safely and maintained in good working condition
Participate in ongoing safety training and contribute to a safe working environment
Collaborate with operations, dispatch, and field crews to schedule vehicle and equipment availability
Report on service timelines, part delays, or critical issues affecting job readiness
Provide technical guidance to less experienced staff when needed
Willingness to take on additional tasks or responsibilities as business needs evolve
