About The Position

Mavis Tires & Brakes is seeking full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join their team in the Danbury, CT area. These technicians utilize the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer vehicles. Their responsibilities include measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight. Additionally, Alignment Technicians perform state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and other required automotive services or vehicle repairs.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Be legally authorized to work in the United States
Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
Required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair
Must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds

Possess a state inspection license
