About The Position

NTB, now part of the Mavis Tires Family, is seeking full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians to join their team at state-of-the-art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Waldorf, MD area. Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States, boasting over 2,000 retail locations. Automotive Alignment Technicians are responsible for using the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer vehicles. This involves measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles to minimize tire wear and ensure vehicles drive straight and true. Additionally, technicians will perform state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and other necessary automotive services or vehicle repairs.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Be legally authorized to work in the United States
Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair
Regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds

Possess a state inspection license

Responsibilities

Use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles

Reduce customer's tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true
Complete state-mandated inspections
Perform oil and filter changes
Perform flat repairs
