About The Position

NTB, now part of the Mavis Tires Family, is seeking full-time Automotive Alignment Technicians for its state-of-the-art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Alexandria, MD area. Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States, with over 2,000 retail locations. Automotive Alignment Technicians utilize the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer vehicles. This involves measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles to minimize tire wear and ensure vehicles track straight. Additionally, technicians are responsible for completing state-mandated inspections, performing oil and filter changes, conducting flat repairs, and carrying out other necessary automotive services or vehicle repairs.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Be legally authorized to work in the United States
Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position

Nice To Haves

Possess a state inspection license

Responsibilities

Use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles
Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles
Reduce customer's tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true
Complete state-mandated inspections
Perform oil and filter changes
Perform flat repairs
Perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles
