About The Position

The Automotive ADAS Calibration Technician at Mobile Auto Solutions (MAS) is responsible for calibrating advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) in vehicles, ensuring they function correctly and safely. This role involves customer interaction, vehicle testing and repair, invoice generation, inventory control, and maintenance of service vehicles. The technician is expected to work collaboratively with team members and act as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group, promoting a positive image of the company.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED equivalent required.
  • 4+ years relevant automotive/electronic technician experience required.
  • Knowledge of OE scan tools.
  • Ability to learn new tools as needed.
  • Knowledge of wiring repair procedures.
  • Ability to service A/C systems.
  • Possesses diagnostic skills in the automotive trade.
  • Basic computer knowledge including using email, spreadsheet, and messaging systems.

Responsibilities

  • Determine testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and reviewing all estimates for repair.
  • Perform diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations, and analysis.
  • Perform wiring repairs and advise the shop of needed repairs.
  • Keep inventory of stock, communicate with support staff for needed orders, and verify order receipts.
  • Write, print, and email service invoices, collecting signatures or payments for work performed.
  • Deliver completed invoices and payments to the office in an orderly manner.
  • Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, and performing preventative maintenance.
  • Collaborate with teammates according to PPT guidelines to schedule and complete jobs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
