About The Position

The Automation Test Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts for web applications and web services. This role involves participating in requirements gathering, performing various types of testing, and collaborating with development teams to ensure software quality. The position is part of an Agile team and requires strong technical skills in automation testing tools and methodologies.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of overall experience in software testing.
• 3-5 years of experience with relevant automated testing tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent significant experience in information technology and software testing.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with source control like Git and CI pipeline tools like Jenkins/GitLab.
• Hands-on experience in API testing using Rest Assured and Postman.
• Experience in Java, Selenium Webdriver, and Cucumber BDD framework.
• Database testing experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AWS and DevOps configuration.
• Testing automation tools for Cloud services.
• Salesforce experience.
• Service Now experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements gathering sessions and translate functional and technical requirements into comprehensive test cases and test scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and/or performance tests.
• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts for web applications and web services using approved tools.
• Write and execute Browser UI, database, and Webservice Tests using Java libraries, Junit, TestNg, and low-code test automation tools like Accelq and Tosca.
• Evaluate software performance and current test methodologies, recommending process improvements.
• Manage defects and collaborate with development staff to resolve issues.
• Plan and estimate testing efforts in collaboration with the project team.
• Primary assigned to one project while collaborating with QE from multiple projects.
