About The Position

Automation test engineer will write testing code and scripts to test the application. They need to have skills, knowledge, expertise, and discipline to think and work as a Test Engineer. Manual testing is not needed.

Requirements

• Seasoned Automation Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree degree in Information Systems or equivalent.
• Understand requirement stories and acceptance criteria and design and implement automated Test Scripts.
• Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills.
• Expertise with PlayWright tool is must.
• Expertise with Selenium tool is must. Must have knowledge and skills to build entire Java Project with Selenium to automate full life cycle of Loan.
• Expertise with Java is must.
• Good knowledge and experience using Python.
• Experience using AI tools (preferably Copilot) to create, modify, parametrize, modularize and sequence test scripts.
• Experience building and maintaining end-2-end test suites to test multistep, disjoint workflow application (preferable loan processing).
• Ability to capture screen shots, data and results in automated manner.
• Expertise in configuring test suites to execute on multiple LLEs like dev, qa, uat, training etc…
• Expertise in creating, scheduling test script execution as batch jobs via command line scripts.
• Ability to write repurpose-able scripts that can be used for data seeding, test preparation and assisting uat testers, PO/PM during testing.
• Demonstrated expertise to build TDD scripts.
• Demonstrated expertise using Source Control system to manage automated test scripts.
• Good knowledge and experience working in Agile environment and tools like ADO.

Responsibilities

• Build, update, manage, execute Automated regression test suite.
• Ability to create/update automated test scripts in the Sprint.
• Identify defects, work with business and development team to resolve.
• Ability to recreate Production Defects and assist with analysis.
