About The Position
Woolpert, Inc. is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team, which is focused on consolidating multiple application instances into a single enterprise system that supports over 85,000 users. This role is critical in the context of the United States Department of the Air Force (DAF) GeoBase program, which manages geospatial information through an enterprise database that provides both web-enabled and desktop solutions to support its Civil Engineering mission and its partners. The Air Force Geospatial Information Management System (AFGIMS) is a key capability for the Department of Defense (DoD), DAF, and intra-agency partners, allowing them to access, visualize, and analyze DoD geospatial data and products for mission and decision support requirements. Currently, AFGIMS is transitioning to a cloud environment, with all capabilities moving to the new Geospatial Engineering Operations Mapping and Analysis Portal (GEOMAP) system. As the GEOMAP Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for developing the testing environment and automated tests, deploying established tools and testing software within an Agile Development / DevSecOps framework. Your primary focus will be on supporting testing and vulnerability mitigation, ensuring continuous monitoring compliance, and preparing information assurance documentation required for GEOMAP Risk Management Framework (RMF) system accreditation. This position requires a proactive approach to testing and quality assurance, ensuring that all aspects of the system meet the necessary security and operational standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, particularly within an Agile environment, and will be expected to collaborate closely with other team members to refine and update automated tests as project requirements evolve. You will also support information assurance documentation and testing efforts to achieve full RMF system accreditation, enabling continuous monitoring compliance.
