Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree in automation, electronics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical diagrams.
  • Strong understanding of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), robotics, and other automation systems.
  • Familiarity with automation software and tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic knowledge of inventory control practices.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in automation technology, electronics, or a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and Repair Automation Systems: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automated systems and machinery to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot Issues: Identify and resolve technical problems related to automated equipment and control systems.
  • Support Production: Collaborate with production teams to optimize the performance of automated systems and ensure seamless operation.
  • Document Work: Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system updates.
  • Implement Improvements: Assist in the implementation of upgrades and improvements to automation systems.
