Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree in automation, electronics, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical diagrams.
Strong understanding of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), robotics, and other automation systems.
Familiarity with automation software and tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Basic knowledge of inventory control practices.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Nice To Haves

Certification in automation technology, electronics, or a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain and Repair Automation Systems: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automated systems and machinery to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot Issues: Identify and resolve technical problems related to automated equipment and control systems.
Support Production: Collaborate with production teams to optimize the performance of automated systems and ensure seamless operation.
Document Work: Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system updates.
Implement Improvements: Assist in the implementation of upgrades and improvements to automation systems.
