You perform all necessary equipment changeovers as required by production planning, and you support Process Engineering with equipment modifications and project work.
Requirements
- Education: Associates Degree in mechanical / electrical technology preferred.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft office software, including Word, Excel, Power Point & Office.
- Working knowledge of electromechanical and pneumatic systems.
- Work Experience: 1+ years of related experience and/or training preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance of automation equipment (i.e. 6-axis robots, support equipment, End-of-Arm Tooling, pad printers, part feeding systems, vision inspection systems, etc.).
- Performs automated equipment changeover procedures and make adjustments as required to maximize equipment performance.
- Performs Fanuc robot program position touchups and minor program modifications to maximize equipment performance.
- Performs basic troubleshooting on electromechanical and pneumatic equipment.
- Responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, and modifying the robotics End-of-Arm Tooling used to handle parts.
- Completes daily report detailing any significant issues relating to equipment performance.
- Completes or generates required paperwork to record set up procedures, settings, etc.
- Assumes additional related responsibilities as needed.
