About The Position

The Automation Technician is responsible for the technical support of bioMérieux Manufacturing PLCs and HMIs, Vision Systems, and Robots to maintain business continuity by managing activities from the beginning to successful completion and implementation. The position is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations and deliverables to support business goals in collaboration with management and key stakeholders. This is a specialized position that specifically requires the troubleshooting of: Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix and SLC-500 PLCs, Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk View ME HMIs, Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk View SE SCADA Systems, Fanuc robots, and various sensors/instruments. The Automation Technician performs diagnostics on automation equipment and executes repairs as needed following site guidelines and processes and will implement small automation modifications to improve safety, product quality, and/or reduce cost.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for bioMérieux Manufacturing PLCs and HMIs, Vision Systems, and Robots.
• Manage activities from the beginning to successful completion and implementation.
• Support manufacturing operations and deliverables to meet business goals.
• Collaborate with management and key stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and SLC-500 PLCs.
• Troubleshoot Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk View ME HMIs and FactoryTalk View SE SCADA Systems.
• Troubleshoot Fanuc robots and various sensors/instruments.
• Perform diagnostics on automation equipment and execute repairs as needed.
• Implement small automation modifications to improve safety, product quality, and/or reduce cost.
