Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? What You Will Do: As part of our team, you will install, maintain, and replace systems throughout the production process. You will also troubleshoot component parts, including motion sensors, control components, photosensors, and other vital technology. In addition to maintaining smooth operation, you will operate as a liason and point of contact for leadership and key decision-makers, delivering reports on current System Control capabilities and future opportunities for improvement. This is a specialized position, and our ideal applicant has experience and education in engineering, robotics, and production controls.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in mechanical engineering, robotics, or a closely related technical field preferred
  • Experience in a production environment, particularly as it relates to control technology
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Project approach experience or awareness
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years or more industrial maintenance working directly with machines (doing both electrical and mechanical).
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and replace Control systems at key points in the production process
  • Troubleshoot non-functioning components including servos, sensors, and control components
  • Develop and improve HMI and SCADA systems (mostly Ignition based)
  • Verify data collection redundancy and security for process parameter
  • Log equipment usage, parts replacement, and scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum functionality
  • Periodically report to leadership regarding control capabilities and status
  • Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architecture
  • Develop system engineering, software engineering, system integration, or distributed system architectures.
  • Collaborate with engineers or software developers to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components.
  • Identify system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs.
  • Communicate with staff or clients to understand specific system requirements.
