About The Position

Wood is currently recruiting for a mid-level Automation Technical Professional with a strong background in the Emerson DeltaV systems to be based at our client in Billings, MT. The role involves participating in designing and implementing automation systems for oil & gas and process industry projects, engaging in all project phases from front-end engineering to commissioning. Responsibilities include supporting site surveys, FATs, SATs, and commissioning activities, while reviewing project schedules and cost estimates. The candidate will assist procurement with vendor lists, requisitions, and technical evaluations, and travel to customer locations for project implementation (25%).

Requirements

• Strong background in Emerson DeltaV systems.
• Ability to work effectively as an individual engineer and team member.
• Experience in automation systems design and implementation.
