Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Automation Technical Professional with a strong background in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) to be based at our client in Borger, Texas. The role involves participating in designing and implementing automation systems for oil & gas and process industry projects, engaging in all project phases from front-end engineering to commissioning. Responsibilities include supporting site surveys, FATs, SATs, and commissioning activities, while reviewing project schedules and cost estimates. The candidate will assist procurement with vendor lists, requisitions, and technical evaluations, and will be required to travel to customer locations for project implementation (25%).
