As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. Google engineers are developing the next-generation of Automation for our Pixel manufacturing. As a member of a creative and talented team, you will work with cross-functional partners and vendors to deliver next-generation automation solutions to our lines. We need our engineers to be versatile and passionate about addressing difficult problems and questioning the status quo as we continue to push technology forward. In this role, you will be driving the transition from manual-centric assembly to a highly automated, data-driven manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for orchestrating automation strategies across all major factory functions. As an Automation System Technical Program Manager, you will bridge the gap between cross-functional engineering teams and factory operations to deliver products at the lowest cost and highest quality. You will lead the development of a scalable automation roadmap that aligns with leadership goals of reducing headcount (HC) and improving manufacturing value-add (MVA). The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
