About The Position

The Automation System Operator at Albertsons is responsible for monitoring and managing the operation of automated material handling systems. Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in a computer or automation environment.

• Ability to multi-task and perform multiple job functions simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system performance and availability of personnel and automated robotic vehicles.
• Ensure safety commitments in compliance with OSHA and facility processes and procedures.
• Schedule and produce orders and receive inventory.
• Become the facility software expert with a strong understanding of system interrelations.
• Troubleshoot system stoppages and determine the best course of action to maintain system uptime.
• Identify causes of automation failures, examine log files, and alert service personnel.
• Communicate and troubleshoot software issues with off-site software engineers and on-site management.
• Assist and train other automation team operators in troubleshooting and repairs as required.
• Operate the system via custom GUI and ensure safe operation.
• Plan daily tasks and coordinate system maintenance with maintenance personnel and Automation Manager.
• Communicate with third-party tier support to drive system production.
