About The Position

The Automation Service Tech works in tandem with the Director of Operations, The Warehouse Operations Team, and Other Suncoast Beverage teams. This person will be responsible for ensuring the safe, and continual operation of the Automation System. This includes, Performing required maintenance, Troubleshooting mechanical/technical issues to minimize downtime, the successful startup of the entire system and the understanding of the various sub systems, the ability to download the WMS product and order information into the WES, and be able to efficiently access, interpret, analyze, and act on system faults that are displayed within the system to reduce/minimize system downtime. Experience with pallet build sequences, replenishment, manual operation of a robotic palletizing cell, and automatic stretch wrappers. The Automation Service Technician will attend on/off-site training by the various sub system vendors of the material handling system and be able to train new operators.

Requirements

• Work Required Shift until the job duties are completed. One weekend Day is required.
• Physical ability and skills to complete all job tasks.
• Computer literacy to use job related programs.
• Willingness to work a minimum of 50 hours per week, not including break time.
• Complete all training required for the position including safety and OSHA training.
• Read / review Suncoast Beverage Sales’ Policy Manual
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Graduate from an accredited college with at least an associate’s degree in industrial technology, Engineering.
• One to two years of experience in systems maintenance, mechanical, electrical and some basic experience with controls troubleshooting experience preferred.
• No degree and 3-5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicates to various Suppliers system issues.
• Master daily order flow routine to ensure maximum throughput is achieved.
• System Auditing to minimize system downtime
• The Ability to read, understand and action System Manuals & Diagnostic Materials.
• Mechanical Ability as needed to act and resolve system issues daily.
• Complete and provide daily reporting of System health and Actuals vs Plan.
• Be able to train other Operators as needed.
• Completes other tasks as requested by Suncoast management.
