As an Automation QA Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and reviewing automated solutions, delivering high quality tests and code contributions. You will be responsible for creating and executing test plans to support multiple products. Additionally, you will utilize AI tools to enhance automation processes and improve testing efficiency. As an Automation QA Engineer, you will also contribute to a variety of areas including: Test Planning and Analysis, Automation Design and Execution, Collaboration and Communication, and Industry Trends and Continuous Improvement.

  • Develop and review automated solutions.
  • Deliver high quality tests and code contributions.
  • Create and execute test plans to support multiple products.
  • Utilize AI tools to enhance automation processes and improve testing efficiency.
  • Review business requirements and design specifications for completeness and testability.
  • Analyze and understand testing procedures and requirements.
  • Obtain requirements from stakeholders and end-users to find automation solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to automate the team’s process and operations.
  • Design, develop and execute QA tests with effective automation scripts.
  • Ensure that the automation solutions implemented thoroughly cover all necessary aspects of a product.
  • Provide input and escalate issues in bug triage meetings.
  • Stay engaged with product sprint ceremonies.
  • Track, manage and report on automation progress and goals.
  • Stay current with automation industry trends, technologies, and AI tools.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance.
  • Proficiency in writing clean, modular, reusable code - preferably JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience using testing tools such as Playwright is preferred.
  • Experience with Backend and Frontend testing and API test automation.
  • Experience using AI tools to assist in the automation of tests.
  • Comprehensive understanding of test methodologies and techniques.
  • Experience working in agile development environment.
  • Ability to understand performance guidelines to achieve results.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in accordance with organizational needs.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship essential to comply with government contract/agency or department of Federal Government requirements.
