Your role in our team You will develop machine processes with support from mechanical engineering You will assist with the selection of electrical components You will create programs to control machines using Allen Bradley Studio 5000 software You will design HMIs for machine control using Allen Bradley FTView Studio ME software You will review the safety circuit design and complete machine safety system programming You will provide suggestions for design improvements or changes during all phases of machine design You will integrate third party equipment into machine functions You will debug and prepare the machine for factory acceptance testing (FAT) You will review the operating manuals prepared by the technical writer You will travel to the customer’s facility for machine integration and site acceptance testing (SAT) You will communicate and interact with customers in a positive and professional manner

Requirements

You have a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required
You are able to travel up to 25%

Nice To Haves

You have experience in programming PLC’s, robots, and creating operator interfaces preferred
You are familiar with other programming languages a plus (Python, C++, C#, VB)
You have experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Responsibilities

Develop machine processes with support from mechanical engineering
Assist with the selection of electrical components
