Key responsibilities include: Equipment management, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Monitoring and optimizing medication inventory levels. Reviewing and updating documentation accurately. Building strong customer relationships through effective communication.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
An Active Ohio (OH) State Pharmacy Technician License / Registration from the State Board of Pharmacy
An Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA-CPhT /ExCPT).
Working knowledge of pharmacy automation.
Strong organizational and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work with mechanical equipment and troubleshoot issues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Self-starter with ability to work independently and follow detailed plans.

Possess flexible availabilities (i.e. PRN match well if you are currently working 7 on 7 off, PRN, Part-Timer, etc.)
Ability to travel for training.
Pharmacy environment; 8–10-hour shifts.
Flexible hours based on business needs.
Standing for extended periods; lifting up to 35 lbs.
Potential exposure to hazardous drugs.

Nice To Haves

Completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program.
2+ years of hospital pharmacy automation experience.
Basic troubleshooting skills with automation devices.

Responsibilities

Operate Omnicell automation systems at customer sites per SOPs and best practices.
Perform return and restocking duties to maximize automation efficiency.
Monitor formulary inventory levels for daily dispensing needs.
Conduct prescribed maintenance and report unresolved issues to Technical Assistance Center (TAC).
Perform daily and periodic equipment cleaning and inspections.
Identify and resolve common system issues; escalate as needed.
Maintain proactive communication with pharmacy operations and customers.
Deliver customer-focused support emphasizing quality, professionalism, and responsiveness.
Conduct training and ensure compliance with all procedures and policies.
Manage work-related expenses per Omnicell travel policies.
Comply with customer facility guidelines and maintain required certifications.
Serve as a resource or SME for team members, providing training and workflow support.
