The Automation Mechanical Technician (AMT) will perform both basic and advanced tasks and repairs on automation systems and associated components. This role involves working with mechanical, electrical, and computer-controlled systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime in a high-tech manufacturing or industrial environment. In fulfilling this role, the AMT works closely with team department members, DSC maintenance, the robotics team, and operations to provide day-to-day support on the automation systems, including specification, installation, and modification of integrated systems, and provide technical support as needed. Additional Information: Weekend Days:, Saturday-Sunday (7 am-7 pm) and either Monday-Tuesday (7 am-3 pm) or Thursday-Friday (7 am-3 pm) This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans. Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised.
