This position is a part of the general maintenance group that installs, maintains, and repairs automated equipment, controls systems, and general equipment in the facility. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Help install and repair all equipment throughout the facility, primarily focusing on automated equipment and control systems Diagnose, repair, and document issues with electrical, mechanical, and software issues to minimize downtime Adhere to safety protocols, adhere to lockout/tagout procedures, and ensure all systems comply with safety regulations Assist with the upkeep and repair of buildings and grounds KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: Proven ability to quickly and effectively troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues Ability to interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams of new and existing systems Working with cross-functional teams of Operators to Management to solve problems Excellent communication within a cross-functional team of Operators and Management to Collaborate with Maintenance Technicians and Engineering for new system installation, and continuous improvement projects EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) Associate degree in Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, or Electrical Technology preferred. Certification from ISA (Certified Control System Technician – CCST), vendor-specific (Siemens, Rockwell, etc.) and OSHA preferred. Hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting WORKING CONDITIONS/OTHER: Work Hours/Status: The 1st shift includes Monday - Thursday 5am – 3pm. The 2nd shift includes Monday - Thursday 3pm - 1am with a shift differential of $3.00/hr. The weekend shift includes Friday – Sunday 6am-6pm for a total of 36 hours and added weekend shift differential of $4.50/hr.
