The position involves troubleshooting and repairing standard medical equipment and software, with the responsibility to escalate issues when necessary. The role includes performing inspections, functionality tests, scheduled preventative maintenance, and recalls of medical equipment and software. The technician will install, update, and modify equipment while ensuring compliance with manufacturers' specifications under the guidance of a supervisor. Additionally, the technician will investigate and document incidents and accidents involving medical equipment or software, coordinate with vendors for repairs and maintenance, and maintain documentation of corrective repairs and preventative maintenance, as well as manage the parts inventory for medical devices and software.
