Requirements

  • Job related experience a minimum 3-5 years.
  • Able to read mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, PLC ladder logic and pneumatic prints.
  • Knowledge and experience with Fanuc LRMate 200iD or similar Fanuc robotics systems required.
  • Lift Truck Certified (preferred but not necessary). If not certified in Lift Truck, must become certified in reasonable amount of time.
  • Must be able to communicate well with others both verbally and in writing; experience in leading training of others a plus.
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment.
  • Physically able to bend, squat, twist, push/pull, reach and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to perform duties within small areas, as small as 2 ft x 2 ft.
  • Strong PLC experience required, experience with Allen Bradley RSLogix 500/500 and Studio 5000 a plus.
  • Working knowledge of the current National Electric Code (NEC) is desirable.
  • Must follow all standard work procedures.
  • Must successfully complete the Lock Out/ Tag Out training within reasonable amount of time.
  • Must follow all safety procedures.
  • Must wear/ use all required PPE, to include, but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, mechanics gloves (when required), proper foot wear (as outlined in the employee handbook), etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Lift Truck certification preferred.
  • Experience in leading training of others.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and calibration on assigned equipment and instrumentation.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, machine setup, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and robotic equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and pneumatic control system problems on production machinery, auxiliary equipment and fixtures.
  • Plan, layout and install electrical and pneumatic systems in support of the fabrication and installation of new equipment and fixtures.
  • Communicate and work cooperatively with fellow technicians and line associates.
  • Assist with set up and tear down of packaging line and changeover of automated pack station.
  • Daily housekeeping and 5S activities.
