Requirements

  • Ability to work 2nd Shift 2 pm-10 pm.
  • High School diploma / GED equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
  • Technical expertise in electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, and automation systems (mechatronic background).
  • Strong automation experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to quickly diagnose and resolve system malfunctions.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and repair.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with engineers, technicians, and other team members.
  • Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair issues with automated systems, robotic arms, PLC systems, and conveyor systems (nonsoftware related).
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance to maximize system uptime and efficiency.
  • Work with industrial robotic assembly devices, cobots, AGV / AMR, vision systems, electrical systems, and manufacturing automation systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Identify potential system failures and ensure critical components are stocked for quick repairs.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in automation technology and suggest process improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure smooth operation of all automated systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.
