About The Position

This role is a direct report to the Body Area Director. You will be responsible for partnering on the integration of equipment and other resources into the manufacturing process. The role will require a high level of independent thinking and discernment to solve manufacturing problems and optimize solutions. Your responsibility may involve training others and coordinating work with other small groups of employees.

Requirements

• Equivalent experience: 5+ years of relevant experience required (automotive industry and manufacturing)
• Ability to solve complex problems
• Ability to work effectively with a cross-functional group; leading the group as needed
• Ability to multi-task on multiple critical issues at the same time
• Ability to work effectively under a high amount of stress
• Ability to work off-shift and over-time as needed

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with body shop
• Previous experience in a Manufacturing and automotive industry
• Ability to work effectively will all levels of the organization
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight or guidance

Responsibilities

• Identifies and analyzes options before breaking them down into initiatives capable of implementation.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal oversight or guidance.
• Acts as a resource to colleagues and plays an integral role in the leadership team of the Body Shop.
• Enhances relationships and networks with senior internal/external partners.
• Uses data and analysis to demonstrate the value of different projects or potential pitfalls of others.
• Often effects change in a broader functional area without direct exercise of authority.
• Must maintain regular contact with partners outside the work group and act as a liaison between manufacturing and other support groups.
• Must be flexible and agile on work assignment dependent on project workload.
