About The Position

The Automation Tech Intern will assist the ESS team with various research, development, documentation, basic project and general technical tasks. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, self-starter with a desire to learn and grow in the field of automation.

Requirements

Motivated, self-starter, with a willingness to grow and learn new skills.
Basic computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Currently studying in a technical or engineering related field.
Reasoning, analytical, and problem solving skills.
Ability to work well in a goal oriented, team environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Solidworks, AutoCAD, or other design software.

Responsibilities

Monitor and apply safety standards to maintain a safe working environment
Assist with research tasks for new technology, component research, vendor information, etc.
Assist with general documentation tasks centered around project development, project management, data collection, etc.
Handle basic project related and engineering tasks as needed.
Support the ESS teams as needed.
