About The Position

Position involving various duties that permit exposure to the student's field of study and/or provide experience that is a useful addition to the student's education and meaningful preparation for future professional employment. Responsible for assisting with daily functions of the department as assigned by the manager. Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in related field
• No experience necessary; general knowledge of the field preferred
• Must demonstrate computer literacy; proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Learn internal operations related to field of internship
• Provide general assistance and support within department
• Report progress to immediate supervisor throughout length of internship
• Apply current education to identify areas for improvement and possible solutions
• Make suggestions to leadership for streamlining systems and processes
• Independently manage workload of project(s) assigned
• Ability to stop the production line and/or prevent shipment of products due to nonconformance or potential nonconformance products to our customers
• Support the environmental policy with proactive process implementation, improvement suggestions, reducing waste, and acting on environment performance results and findings
