Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Architectural Engineering from an accredited program.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).
  • Strong interest in the Food & Beverage or Life Sciences industries.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across disciplines and with internal and external stakeholders (vendors, clients, contractors).
  • Eagerness to learn about the AEC industry and apply academic knowledge to real-world engineering applications.
  • Willingness to relocate or work in one of CRB's internship locations.

Nice To Haves

  • Working towards Fundamental of Engineering Exam registration or completion preferred.
  • Familiarity with Engineering Software Application including computer aided drafting, process modeling and calculations programs.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards within the AEC industry.
  • Prior internship or co-op experience in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Developing project documents (e.g., calculations, reports, construction drawings and specifications, etc.) for clients in coordination with regulatory bodies and industry standards.
  • Assisting with development of conceptual designs and coordinating with the design team under direction of the project team lead.
  • Coordinating with other disciplines and other internal and external team members (e.g., vendors, clients, and contractors).
