About The Position

Sonwil is a premier national logistics provider, with business units servicing Distribution & Warehousing, Fulfillment, Transportation and Real Estate. Sonwil is developing a new automated facility model under the branding FourSquare.

Sonwil is looking for motivated individuals to help drive the success of our FourSquare automation model. The position involves monitoring a fleet of more than 20 robotic devices, troubleshooting & resolving interruptions while assisting in the continuous improvement of the project.

Requirements

• Must be able to investigate and solve complex and developing situations.
• Ability to work safely in an active warehouse environment.
• Ability to interact with a web application.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL is helpful.
• Aptitude with ratchet straps, levers and safety harnesses is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the operation of the warehouse automation technologies.
• When a failure is detected, an individual will use a tablet or mobile device to interact with robot devices to remedy the situation.
• For events that cannot be remedied track the issue and escalate to the services team.
• Solution has heights of up to 60 feet. Occasional issues could require a special team to service the solution. Position would need to make these assessments and triage when necessary.
• Assist in investigating and documentation of the root cause of each failure to drive continued improvement.
• Interact with a Sonwil produced application to monitor the system and resolve issues.
• Assist the operations team in the maintenance of a healthy flow of orders in and out of the facility.
