The GCG Automation & Factory Solutions Technical Services team is growing, and we are now seeking a Automation Field Service Engineer to help us expand our service offerings and support customers across the Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky region. In this role, you will serve as a technical expert in automation controls and related electrical components, supporting customers from project start to finish-including hardware selection, troubleshooting, programming, and on-site commissioning. You will also play an important role in internal training and mentorship, helping elevate the overall technical capabilities of our team. This position is ideal for a self-motivated engineer who enjoys working in the field, solving problems, and contributing to automation success across a wide range of industries. For this role, we are seeking candidates in the Central / Southern OH area to accommodate ease of travel to customer sites around Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. When not engaged in work related travel to customer sites or corporate facilities, this position offers a remote work arrangement however, travel could be as much as 50% depending on work volume.
