Position Overview As an Automation Engineer at NOX METALS, you will serve as a key contributor in optimizing our manufacturing operations through automation. You will develop, implement, and refine automation systems and processes on the factory floor, working hands-on with both technology and production staff. Your work will directly impact efficiency, reliability, and scalability, helping define the technical foundation for a next-generation industrial company.

Requirements

• Strong experience in industrial automation, robotics, or related engineering fields
• Proficiency in automation and control systems (e.g., PLCs, SCADA, robotics)
• Experience working hands-on in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Demonstrated ability to quickly solve operational challenges through technical innovation
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ownership mindset
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work on-site, embedded with factory staff

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions for factory operations (systems integration, robotics, PLC programming, etc.)
• Collaborate closely with operators and leadership to identify pain points and deliver practical automation improvements
• Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate automation processes to deliver real-time value
• Integrate data collection and monitoring systems to track performance and ensure ongoing optimization
• Maintain high standards of system reliability, safety, and documentation
• Provide training and support for team members in operating and maintaining automated systems
