We are seeking an experienced automation engineer for the management of system infrastructure and applications. As an automation engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. You'll work with a cross-functional team to develop and implement automation solutions, maintain, and improve our CI/CD pipelines, and work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the smooth deployment and management of our infrastructure and applications. Additionally, you'll continue to strengthen your DevSecOps skills while supporting the sustainment and development of critical naval platforms.

  • Develop and implement automation solutions.
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines.

  • 6+ years of experience with supporting DoD or government agencies.
  • 3+ years of experience with troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues related to automation.
  • 3+ years of experience with the development of tools and processes to drive DevSecOps maturity.
  • Experience with Agile development.
  • Knowledge of automation tools, including Ansible.
  • Experience with version control systems, including Git.
  • Familiarity with operating systems, including RHEL and Windows.
  • Experience with virtualization, including VMware.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Experience with designing and implementing robust, scalable, and efficient CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC).
  • Experience with application containerization.
  • Experience with modeling network configuration in JSON and YAML.
  • Experience with network automation in Python and Ansible.
  • Knowledge of networking principles and concepts.
