About The Position

As an Automation Engineer/SDET , you will make an impact by ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions through robust automation testing practices. You will be a valued member of the QA team and work collaboratively with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver secure and efficient solutions in the healthcare domain. In this role, you will: • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, and JavaScript. • Validate API integrations and data flows to ensure seamless functionality. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Agile testing practices. • Utilize test management tools such as Rational Tool Suite, JIRA, RQM, and RTC for planning and reporting. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation frameworks and test environments. Work model - Hybrid At Cognizant, we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, t his is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in a Cognizant or client office in Hartford, CT. Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in Automation QA Testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Java, JavaScript, or similar automation tools.
  • Experience with Salesforce or Five9 platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles.
  • Experience testing APIs and data integrations.
  • Familiarity with secure messaging, email routing, and related capabilities.
  • Proficiency in test management tools (Rational Tool Suite, JIRA/RQM/RTC).
