Requirements

• Develop professional work knowledge and abilities in one or more of the following areas: Substation Design, Substation Automation, Power Systems Analysis, Communications Systems, Electrical Control Systems, Protective Relaying.

Responsibilities

• Perform design activities requiring a basic understanding of drawings, calculations, specifications, and industry standards and practices covering the assigned work.
• Shall have a basic knowledge of the theory, practices, and procedures pertaining to engineering matters in one or more of the following areas: Electrical Engineering, Communications Systems, Automation Systems.
• Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, calculations, cost estimates, specifications, evaluations, and requisitions.
• Develop professional work knowledge and abilities in one or more of the following areas: Substation Design, Substation Automation, Power Systems Analysis, Communications Systems, Electrical Control Systems, Protective Relaying.
• Develop knowledge of the company-s design, construction, QA/QC, and safety standards and the company document control system.
• Responsible for complete and accurate record keeping and quality of all work performed.
• May be required to travel to support work.
• Other duties as required.
