SIGN-ON BONUS NOW $10,000 We are currently looking for an experienced Automation Engineering, Sr. Technician - 3rd Shift to join our Lincoln, NE organization. This individual will be required to develop, design, build and test robotic platforms from prototype through product commercialization. Create an integrated autonomous interface, mobility, communication, and human-robot interaction. Works with cross-functional teams to understand opportunities for robotic applications. Manager Specific requests: Programs and troubleshoots PLCs and associated control systems. Reads and understands equipment schematics. Designs simple electronic control systems, specifies control equipment, builds and installs control systems. Requirements

  • Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 2-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience

Responsibilities

  • Assists engineers with the development and implementation of automation systems or components.
  • Programs, installs, tests, and maintains robots or automated components.
  • Assists in the commissioning and deployment of new automation installations, conducts field trials to ensure appropriate operation, and prepares reports or records documenting actions or findings.
  • Investigate and troubleshoots defects or bugs, complete repairs and provides preventative maintenance.
