This role would focus on automating internal control testing processes, helping reduce manual efforts to collect and analyze system data. This role plays a critical part in evaluating the effectiveness of the Company’s control environment. To be a successful Automation Developer, it is important that you are able to design, implement, and maintain automated solutions that support internal control testing and compliance initiatives. Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in automation development
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, JavaScript) and automation platforms (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with internal control frameworks (NIST, COBIT, COSO, SOX), compliance standards and regulatory guidelines is a plus.
- Experience with IT Service Management, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and GRC tools is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, monitoring and enhance automated workflows and scripts to support internal control testing and monitoring.
- Build and maintain automation for evidence collection, control validation, and reporting.
- Integrate automation solutions with IT Service Management (ITSM) and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) platforms and other enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with independent risk management and compliance teams to understand control requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support third-party vendor engagements related to control testing automation by holding status meetings, ensuring governance over Bots and usage of APIs.
- Utilize tools to build automated reporting of control testing metrices and time bound notifications from the enterprise GRC system.
- Support the implementation of control frameworks such as NIST, COSO, SOX, and COBIT through automation.
- Assist in identifying control gaps and opportunities for automation.
- Generate reports on control performance, deficiencies, and remediation efforts.
- Contribute to risk mitigation strategies through technology-driven solutions.
- Document automation logic, control mappings, and system configurations for audit readiness.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
