Additionally, the engineering group is creating company standards for each facility to follow (electrical power systems, automation, facility infrastructure…), so this position will help with this effort. The incumbent is expected to understand that all employees have a shared responsibility for the quality of products and related services provided to our customers. Duties and Responsibilities are to be carried out in accordance with the PTC Quality Management System and its policies, procedures, and work instructions as applicable to the job or function being performed.

Requirements

  • Heavy-industrial experience is a requirement (5 years), with experience in the pipe manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Experience managing capital projects and Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Experience with developing and maintaining automation controls programs using relay ladder logic, Structured Text, and functional block diagrams.
  • Experience working with variable frequency drives, DC drive configurations, HMI’s, and integrated safety systems.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • BSEE degree from an ABET accredited institution is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop scope-of-work and request-for-quotation for equipment and component vendors, service providing contractors, original equipment manufacturers, systems integrators, …
  • Managing contractors and / or employees in the execution of the project
  • Project management, making sure projects stay “on-time” and within budget.
  • Assist with Project Risk and Identification Reviews and creating mitigation plans regarding the specific items identified.
