About The Position
This contract position involves designing, developing, and optimizing Hamilton automation methods, specifically focusing on Venus 4 or 6, with a preference for Venus 6. The role requires translating bench-based assays into scalable, automated workflows and executing thorough method testing with a keen attention to liquid handling parameters such as pipetting accuracy, mixing efficiency, and plate formats. The contractor will troubleshoot automation protocols to resolve hardware/software and fluid handling issues, support assay validation on automation platforms, and contribute to quality control efforts. Additionally, the contractor will generate clear, well-documented protocols, reports, and records that are consistent with internal standards and regulatory expectations. Collaboration with cross-functional scientific teams is essential, while also maintaining the ability to work independently.
